Annamaria studied singing at The Victorian College of the Arts, Masterclasses at the Australian Academy of Music and at the University of Melbourne she completed her Masters of Music Studies. She was finalist in several Opera Foundation Australia competitions; The Metropolitan Opera Study Scholarship, the National Opera Studio Scholarship, a recipient of the Lady Galleghan Encouragement Award and winner of the Herald Sun Aria Competition. Annamaria has appeared with the Opera Australia (Tosca, The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni) and in studio excerpts as Countess- The Marriage of Figaro and as Sandmanchen – Hansel and Gretel. Future Engagements include a recital at St. Martin-in-the-fields. Annamaria currently studies with Soprano Lillian Watson and is a Concordia Foundation Artist for 2008

'Sophisticated Ladies' at the National Portrait Gallery performed to a packed-out audience on Friday 9th December. Newly formed this year, an ensemble of 10 of Concordia's most accomplished cellists and Concordia Prize-winner Anna Patalong soprano.The Concordia Candlelit Christmas Concert Saturday 17th December at St Paul's Church Covent Garden at 7.30pm was completely SOLD OUT and a fantastic end to a very challenging and inspiring year. Performaners included Concordia International Ensemble Artists, talented young musicians and VOCES8.
