As a solo recitalist, Annie has performed at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts(Vancouver), the Royal Opera House – Linbury Studio, St. Paul’s Church Covent Garden, St. Martin-in-the-Field’s and St. James’s Piccadilly. Her solo debut recital was broadcast on CBC Radio 2 in Canada, and has broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and Portuguese Radio Antena 2. A Concordia Artist of the Concordia Foundation, Annie has most recently won the Serena Nevill Award. She is also the first participant of its Mentoring Scheme, receiving mentorship on running a music and arts organization.

Born in Hong Kong, Annie studied with renowned Chinese pianist, Nancy Loo. Under the tutelage of Robert Silverman at University of British Columbia in Canada, Annie won many awards including the CBC Debut Competition and made her concerto debut in Vancouver playing Beethoven Concerto in G major.

With support from British Columbia Arts Council and Vancouver Foundation, Annie joined the piano class of Joan Havill at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she received her Masters of Music degree and Postgraduate diplomas in Piano Performance and Chamber Music. She has also received coachings from such eminent musicians as Leon Fleisher, Dominique Merlet, Jean-Francois Heisser, and Jeremy Siepmann.

Her recent festival appearances include Geneva Music Festival, Gaia International Music Festival in Portugal and Chelsea Schubert Festival in London.
