Antoine Francoise studies at RCM. Focused in contemporary music, in 2004 he won the first prize in “Concours des jeunesses musicales suisses” in Switzerland and in spring 2007 the first prize in the RCM contemporary piano competition as well as the prize for the best English music performance.

Since summer 2006, he has been engaged by the professional contemporary ensemble NEC (Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland) and played in several concerts. Recent highlights with this ensemble include Hindemith’s piano concerto and a tour in China. Antoine’s repertoire includes many world premieres, for solo piano, piano and electronics or small chamber music ensembles.

Passionate about chamber music, Antoine has played with many different formations from duo to septet with both string and wind instruments. He has organised many chamber music events dedicated to the classical repertoire and the new music compositions. He recently performed the 3 Debussy sonatas at the National Gallery in London.
