Leanne studied at Wells Cathedral School and Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she gained an honours degree in 2002. During her time at G.S.M.D. Leanne took part in many solo and chamber recitals throughout England in venues including The Wigmore Hall, St. James’ Piccadilly, Royal Festival Hall, Wimborne Minster & Southwark Cathedral. Since then Leanne has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in over fifty countries worldwide including the Far East, Middle East, Central America, North Africa, Caribbean and Baltic States. More recently Leanne played for the Royal Jordanian Family and as a concerto soloist she has performed at Wells Cathedral, St George’s Brandon Hill, Bkishops Palace, St Martin in the Fields and St John’s Waterloo with the Southbank Sinfonia. She has recorded solo works by Karg-Elert and Nicholas Chouveus for the National Sound archive. Leanne received support from Concordia Foundation & scholarships from Wolfson Foundation, The Prince’s Trust and the Katy Choules Trust.
