Born
in Surrey in 1977, Alexandra graduated from the Guildhall School
of Music and Drama (GSMD) in July 2000 having trained with Professor
Rudolf Piernay. She is now at GSMD, studying for a Masters degree.
She has given many recitals in the UK and Europe as an oratorio
soloist. Her experience includes the Bach Magnificat, Mozart's
Requiem. Haydn's Harmoniemesse, Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb,
the Bruckner Mass in F minor, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle,
and Handel's Messiah with Sir David Willcocks at the Royal Albert
Hall. She has participated in many masterclasses and has been
a prize winner in the Association of English Singers and Speakers
Competition in London and was recently awarded bursaries for
further post-graduate study from The Countess of Munster Musical
Trust and the Musician's Benevolent Fund. |
