Our successes

HIGHLIGHTS IN BRIEF

Every Concordia Foundation performance is a success so it is hard to highlight individual events or activities. But some stand out in the memories of those who took part or were in the audience, including:

"I do think our first concert in the Concordia Concerto Series was a huge success and has drawn a lot of attention to the VNSO, Concordia and young artists from Europe. I think the orchestra, as well as the public was hugely impressed by the professionalism of Cliodna' s performance in what was actually a very difficult and challenging piece. To have such a success from a 17 year old made the whole event even more special. People are still talking about Concordia, Cliodna, The Menuhin School and VNSO's new initiative.

I have also received many messages of congratulation on the concert as a whole. People really enjoyed Peter and the Wolf and having you, as the official Concordia founder/representative was extremely meaningful." more>>

"My experiences in Switzerland, from meeting young international students to world leaders, were educational and filled with great interest. … facing one-on-one with real people far exceeds anything gained in the classroom. … the Concordia Foundation has been a help and inspiration to me through my travel and it is an honour to be sponsored by such a fine group."
Andrew Beaton, New York

"I think that was the most beautiful singing concert I have ever been to. It was totally enchanting and it just oozed love and character. I really take my hat off to you as I know you and Peter really worked hard. You have gathered such an abundance of wonderful spirit which shines. The whole evening glowed."
Camilla, who was in the audience at the performance of the Cantorino Chidren's Choir in Zalau.
