Other major awards
The Concordia Foundation has made numerous other awards. Here is a brief look at some of the comments we received about them:

"… this was the trip of a lifetime. … having such an in-depth look into the Japanese culture and way of life was an exceptional experience. … a hectic schedule coupled with never ending rehearsals and unbearable heat made a good night's sleep almost impossible. … we played four concerts in all. … I achieved something, and will never forget it! … a big thank you to the Concordia Foundation."
James Ashcroft (percussion) who was awarded a travel prize (percussion) so he could visit Japan with the London Schools Symphony Orchestra (LSSO) in June 1997.
"My trip to the International Music Camp was something that I am never going to forget. … it gave me the inspiration to become a better musician."
Alex König (trumpet) who received a travel award to attend the International Youth Bank Summer Camp in North Dakota, USA in July 1997.
