David Malusà graduated cum laude from the Conservatorio Arrigo Pedrollo in Vicenza and then completed the Masters of Music programme and the Artist Diploma course at the Royal College of Music in London. He is now under the tutelage of Louis Lortie.
David is a prizewinner of several national and international competitions, including the 16th Jaques Samuel Intercollegiate Piano Competition. He was then invited to make his debut recital at the Fazioli Concert Hall in Sacile and the Wigmore Hall in London – a CD was released under S.W. Mitchell Capital Records of this latter live performance.
An acclaimed soloist and keen chamber musician, Malusà has played in many prestigious piano festivals and concert halls worldwide. He appeared as a soloist with the Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra and the Goodensemble Orchestra performing Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto and Beethoven's Second Piano Concerto under the batons of Roland Melia and Michael Poll. Most recently, David also performed with the Orpheus Sinfonia at St. John’s Smith Square in London, conducted by Thomas Carroll.
David has been supported by The Nora Popple Award, Henry TS Entertainment, the Pavia Rotary Club District 2050 and the Concordia Foundation. Most recently, Malusà has been appointed Associate Teacher for the Pianoman Scholarship Scheme and Music Director for the charity “Hearts in Harmony”.
