Street Cries of London: Let The Children Sing
Wilton’s Music Hall, April/May 2009
Vocal ensemble VOCES8, aided by a Time Machine, took our Young Audiences on a journey from the Roman invasion of Britain through the Stuarts, the Industrial Revolution, the Blitz and the Swinging Sixties. The music was lively and imaginative and it was clear that the children relished being part of this musical journey.
Admission was by painted tickets, made by each child and featuring a London landmark, which we then displayed on the walls of the auditorium.
